Update the linux kernel to correct this issue. If this kernel version is used, it will prevent CCS from starting and RTSC based projects from buiilding. There is an issue with a specific version of the Linux kernel that is caused by (). See the (ccs_linux_host_support.html) page for installation instructions on the validated versions. Not all Linux distributions and versions were tested with CCS. See the (ccs_linux_host_support.html) page for details.

Use a newer version.ĤK Display Note (CCSv7.2.0 and earlier) if you are using a 4K display the text will auto scale in the installer which makes it very difficult to read the text displayed within the window area and thus not possible to install CCS. Linux GLIBC 2.2.6 (CCSv7.3.0 and earlier) Linux distributions that use GLIBC 2.2.6 (this includes Ubuntu 17.10) will prevent the installer from running. Internet Explorer users may need to change the extension of the Windows installer to exe after downloading. This means that it does not require a paid license.

Licensing: CCSv7 and later are Technology Software Publicly Available (TSPA) compliant. If you need to use one of these older probes please use CCSv8.3.1 or earlier. Support for XDS510 class probes was deprecated years ago for Linux and MacOS. XDS510 class debug probes are not supported starting with CCSv9. If you are using a 32bit Windows System please use CCSv8.3.1 or earlier. Windows 32bit is not supported starting with CCSv9. Update Status: This release will not be available as an update.
